Dschang University: Best Students Honoured with Cash, Certificates

The Rector of the University of Dschang, Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso, has called ons tudents of the institution and some 5,500 students from some Higher Institutes of learning under the mentorship of the university, to use their newly acquired skills and create positive impact in society.

Professor Roger Tsafack Nanfosso was speaking recently on the campus of the institution while closing its 2018/2019 school year which culminated in the award of end-of- course diplomas to successful students.

The event was watched, amongst others, by the new Board chairman of the University of Dschang, Prof Paul Celestin Ndembiyembe and the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Justice, Momo Jean de Dieu.

The Rector of the University of Dschang, Prof Roger Tsafac Nanfosso expressed gratitude to President Paul Biya and the Ministerof State, Minister of Higher education, Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo for their constant support to the institution.

Prof Nanfosso also assured the public that the university authorities have put forward a comprehensive programme  to ensure that all academic  reforms are realized at
record time.

Speaking earlier,the Vice Rector in charge of Academic Affairs, Prof Jean Njoya revealed that the institution was able to overcome all the challenges to produce the good results; thanks to the contributions of both administrative and academic staff who showed flexibility at all levels.

At the end of the ceremony,deserving young entrepreneurial students bagged home cash prizes ranging from FCFA 500,000 to FCFA 2,500,000.
