French President Emmanuel Macron Arrives In Cameroon For Official Visit

Emmanuel Macron touched down in Yaounde on
French President Emmanuel Macron is in Cameroon for a 48-hour official visit where he is said to hold a series of meetings before leaving.
Emmanuel Macron landed in Cameroon at about 10:45pm on Monday, July 25 and was received by Prime Minister, Jospeh Dion Ngute, personal representative of the Head of State, Paul Biya.
After state honours and exchanges, the French President headed straight to the Hilton Hotel where he is lodged ahead of a hectic Tuesday whose high point will be an audience with the Head of State, Paul Biya.
Emmanuel Macron is also expected to meet with a group of Cameroonian and French civil society organisations at the Club Noah later on Tuesday before he departs for the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport as he takes off to Benin to continue his three-country African tour.
