U23 Afcon qualifiers : Cameroon Begin Camping Ahead Of Tunisia Game

Cameroon’s Under 23 team begin camping today in Yaounde ahead of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations against Tunisia.
Head coach Rigobert Song summoned 23 players who are expected in Yaounde today and will effectively start training tomorrow as the camp will run till September 05 when they Lions face Tunisia in Yaounde.
Amongst the 23 players called up, 21 are from 14 home-based clubs while the other two players from clubs in the Maghreb.
Raja Casablanca’s left back FabriceNgah and Club Africain de Tunis midfielder Ibrahim Mouchili are the two players from the Maghreb to join the home-based players.
The camp will span over two weeks to first prepare the players physically, before the technical and tactical sessions, given that the local championship is yet to begin.
The last round matches of the U23 Afcon qualifiers will be played between 2-10 September to determine the eight teams that will qualify for the tournament billed for Egypt from 8-22 November. The three best teams at the tournament will automatically qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
