The interim executive committee of the nation’s football governing body has rolled out a road map leading up to new elections at the head of the structure which is set to hold in October
The Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT has unveiled a calendar for elections at the helm of the football body as well as its various regional organs.
According to a communiqué signed by the President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, the interim executive of FECAFOOT on June 11 approved the draft statuts, electoral as well as code of ethics.
He added that the interim executive equally validated the process to revise the texts as well as organization of new elections at the body.
The interim executive has equally produced an electoral calendar which the FECAFOOT general assembly scheduled for July to adopt the draft statuts presented as well as the setting up of independent commissions and judicial organs.
In the months of August and September, FECFAOOT will proceed with the election of executives at the divisional and Regional levels as well as representatives to the general assembly.
The general assembly itself will hold in October in view of the election of the new executive bureau of the Cameroon Football Federation.
The President of FECAFOOT has thus called on all football actors to mobilize and ensure dialogue prevails for the supreme interest of the nation.
