Henri Bedimo recently bagged his certificate in coaching from the Occitania Football League formation

Becoming coaches is the new trend for former Indomitable Lions players. The players are readopting themselves to training players. Henri Bedimo recently bagged his certificate in coaching after retiring in 2020.

The former right-back who capped 59 times with the Indomitable Lions was an educator with the youth team of his former club Montpellier.  Bedimo played for numerous clubs in France notably Olympique Lyon, Marseille and Montpellier with whom he won the French Ligue 1 in 2011-2012 football season. Bedimo said he was very proud to be admitted in the BEF (Football Coaching Certificate).

Another former Indomitable Lion who found a club is Landry Nguemo who was recruited by his former club Nancy to guide the U16 club. Nguemo, participated in two World Cups (2010, 2014) with the Indomitable Lions. After retirement he started coached a sixth division side in French.

Before Nguemo and Bedimo, other players had successfully reconverted themselves in coaching. AchilleWebo, 39 is the assistant manager of Turkish club ?stanbul Ba?ak?ehir. He led the team to win their first ever Turkish Cup and participate in the Champions League for the maiden time. However, the Turkish side could not make pass the group stages.

Former captain of the Indomitable Lions winning to AFCON (2000, 2002) Rigobert Song coached the Intermediate Lions and is now coaching the cadets Lions.
