January Transfers:Busy Deadline Day For Cameroonians

Tuesday was busy for players and clubs across Europe and the rest of the world as they raced to beat the deadline
It was also a busy schedule for a number of Cameroonian players who switched environment in search of regular game time at their new clubs while it was a whole new experience for a couple of others.
New Adventure For Ngom
After impressing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, forward Jerome Ngom Mbekeli attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe but it is Belgian second division side SK Bereven who snapped up the 24-year old on an 18-month deal with an option to extend for a further season. The player joins the club from Colombe of Sangmelima where he has been playing for the past 18 months.
Hongla Moves To Spain
On his part, Indomitable Lions midfielder Martin Hongla moved on loan to Spanish side Real Valladolid from Italian side Hellas Verona. The 24-year old will look to get more game time at the Spanish club after playing just six matches at Hellas Verona this season.
Cameroonian defender Frank Macky Bagnack, 27, left Kaïrat Almaty in Kazakhstan to join Nizhny Novgorod in Russia.
Movement Across Africa
It was also a busy day for some Cameroonian players across Africa with forward Albert Dieudonne Eonde joining Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal.
On the other hand, DR Congo side, TP Mazembe completed the capture of goalkeeper Narcisse Nlend after the player completed a trial. The 31-year old has signed a two-year deal with the Congolese giants.
Some Indomitable Lionesses were also on the move on deadline day with Easther Mayi Kith, 25, Reading FC Women from Swedish side Kristianstads DFF on a permanent deal till the end of 2023/24.
Defender Nina Nke Nke left AS Awa and joined Turkish division one side Adana FF.
