South West FECAFOOT Bans Henry Njalla Quan Jr For 10 Years

The former FECAFOOT 4th Vice-President is accused of corruption of referees

The saga of Henry Njalla Quan Jr is still on. The South West Regional League homologation and disciplinary committee has suspended the former FECAFOOT 4th Vice-President for a period of ten years. He was also slammed a fine of FCFA 10 million and his club relegated to an inferior league.

Thi is based on a communique signed by the President of the South West FECAFOOT homologation and disciplinary committee, Barrister Jerry Fombon. Henry Njalla Quan Jr was accused of usurpation of office and corruption.

The articles cited for his suspension do not exist on FECAFOOT’s disciplinary code. For the fine of FCFA 10 million, article 27 and 28 sub section 1,2,3 were mentioned but those articles rather talk of the FECAFOOT’s general rules and composition fo judicial bodies while that banning him for 10 years article eight talks of the responsibilty of members.

Henry Njalla Quan Spits Fire In Presser

In a press conference held last Saturday in Limbe, the football stakeholder revealed a lot malpractices in the football house and said investigations should be done.

However, at the time we went to press, FECAFOOT had not reacted to the suspension and fine slammed on Henry Njalla Quan Jr by the South West Regional League homologation and disciplinary committee.
